7 Photography Projects

August 31, 2009

I recently started following digital-photography-school.com on twitter.  They’ve had some good stuff and made me think about things that I do.  One of their recent tweets was a link back to their blog where they listed “7 Photography Projects to Jumpstart your Creativity”.  The post is really good and I’m already planning to do a couple of them.  First on my list is a photo walk around Boulder or maybe Denver.  The “100 Strangers” project scares the crap out of me.  Maybe that means I should do it?

Hally Roberts: Part One

August 19, 2009

We did these photos a couple of weeks ago.  This a was a portfolio trade with Hally who is looking to get into modeling.  She did an absolutely great job as I asked her to do a lot of stuff.  I chose Boulder Canyon for the location which gave us a ton of options and it was a gorgeous day as usual here in Boulder.

We  photographed for several hours so it’s taking me a long time to get through the images.  Therefore, this is part one of the session.  I’ll have the rest soon.  I’d love to hear what everyone thinks!

Kayte + Victor

August 12, 2009

Kayte and Victor were married at the end of July in Parker, CO.  The wedding was great.  It was a busy day and I took more photos than I’ve ever taken at a wedding.  They were a fun couple to work with and they planned a super fun day.  I especially loved that they had a mariachi band!
